New entrance to dental surgery
Dr Harris Sidelsky, Golders Green, London NW11
1267C
New glazed entrance canopy to an existing dental surgery on Finchley Road, constructed between 2 semi-detached houses in 2004., This followed a successful internal refurbishment in 1998.
The stainless steel roof, projecting horizontally from the mock Tudor domestic terrace, advertises the contrasting high-tech dental practice within. It replaced the original rotten timber rooflight located between the two buildings.
The translucent glass doors and reflective properties of the stainless steel canopy present a bright and attractive night-time focus to passers-by, and the ambience of the new space reflects the professional image of the dental practice.
