New house overlooking the River Thames

On this island site overlooking the River Thames, a new house has been constructed on Eco House principles, replacing an existing residence. The accommodation is planned over two floors above an undercroft, which allows for the alleviation of flood conditions within the river flood plain. 

The house is a “self-build” of steel frame construction, with cantilevered balconies overlooking the river.

Construction was completed in 2017.
